Installation Guide

Double-click to install. Three services ready in 30 seconds.

macOS Installation

  1. 1

    Download .dmg

    Pick the macOS build from the home page (~5.8 GB)

    Mount and copy to Applications

    Double-click the .dmg, drag the CoPaw-AI-Engine folder to /Applications (or anywhere)

    Start the engine

    Double-click 啟動AI引擎.command. Wait ~30s for '🎉 All AI services ready'.

    Stop the engine

    Double-click 停止AI引擎.command

Windows Installation

    Download .zip

    Pick the Windows build from the home page

    Extract anywhere

    Avoid paths with non-ASCII characters

Troubleshooting

macOS: 'Cannot verify developer'
System Settings → Privacy & Security → find the blocked binary → 'Open Anyway'. Or run: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /path/to/CoPaw-AI-Engine
Port already in use
Start script auto-kills old processes and restarts. Normal behavior.
GPU not enabled / slow
macOS uses Metal automatically. Windows requires NVIDIA driver + CUDA Runtime.
